This policy explains how Top Roofing ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information through toproofing.net (the "site").
Information we collect
When you request an estimate, we collect what you enter in the form:
- the property address;
- details about your roof and home, and any notes you add;
- your first and last name;
- your mobile number and email address.
We also keep a record of your texting consent: whether you checked the consent box, the exact consent wording shown to you, and the date and time of your request.
When you send a request, we automatically receive page and device information: the page you sent it from, the referring page, your browser and device type, your IP address and your approximate country.
How we use your information
- to respond to your request and contact you about it;
- to schedule a roof inspection and prepare your written estimate;
- to keep records of your consent and any opt-out;
- to protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse;
- to comply with the law.
How we share your information
We share your information only as needed to handle your request: with roofing contractors and service providers who help us inspect your roof, prepare your estimate or do the work, and with companies that host the site, store data or send messages for us. They may use it only for those purposes.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
Mobile information and texting consent
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep request and consent records for as long as we need them to respond to your request, to keep records of consent and opt-outs, and to meet legal obligations. After that we delete them or remove the details that identify you.
Your choices
- To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text.
- To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email support@toproofing.net. We will respond as required by law.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or storage system is completely secure.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email support@toproofing.net and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
